Ralph Loves to Turkey Hunt

Ralph Loves to Turkey Hunt

An avid turkey hunter Ralph started making animal sounds with his mouth while turkey hunting. This was in the early turkey hunting days Jefferson County Missouri. Ralph describes him self as a turkey and coyote hunter. Ralph loved the outdoors and got a job with The Missouri Department of Conservation where he could enjoy his passion.

This vocation has expanded, and he now entertains audiences from coast to coast with his animal calls and stories. Ralph produces the calls mostly with his mouth but occasionally uses a call.

This link is an interview between Dr. Shane Garrison and Ralph Duren, Retired Wildlife Professional, 26 years with the Missouri Dept. of Conservation as Public Relations Specialist, Hunter Skills Specialist, and Wildlife Damage Control Agent. This interview was filmed in Druien Hall on the campus of Campbellsville University. Posted and created by the CU School of Theology.
